How do you feel about small brands mimicking a high end luxury brand? Do you care or are you down for a good look-a-like for a fraction of the price? I love all of it because dressing up is fun and you can put together a look at any price point. Hard work does go into the details and roll out of the original creator and by no means are we discrediting all the hard work of that. A lot of brands recently have not received recognition or compensation from stolen designs. Have you attended the Renaissance World Tour?! I have and it was a disco ball of fun and music of course from my favorite artist Beyonce. I have been geeked about what stage attire Beyonce has worn for the tour along with what the fans are wearing in attendance to this show are mind blowing looks. The people who are attending are not playing with the fashions. Who remembers the black & yellow Roberto Cavalli zebra dress Aaliyah wore to the MTV Music Awards back in 2000?! *Raises Hand* 🤚🏾 I do! I thought the dress was elegant and so different for Aaliyah to wear that night. She looked absolutely gorgeous. Here we are 23 years later and Fashion Nova has a replica design. Omg I squealed and was in disbelief for a second. I had to go to the archives and search the dress Aaliyah made famous and yes, it is a duplicate. Rihanna is performing live 2.12.2023 during the Super Bowl halftime. This is a big deal. It’s going to be a celebration of her catalog. Rihanna dropped some Super Bowl game day merch Savage X Fenty Style. This collection sold out quickly and I snagged two pieces when it launched and I’m glad I did. Today is the first day of Black History🤎 This is the first time I’m seeing Bath and Body Works celebrating Black History by changing up the packaging for certain candles, hand-soaps, and body lotions. I was excited to see this new packaging and thinking new scents would follow for Black History Month. No new scents, just new packaging with existing scents Bath and Body Works already have in rotation. Urgh, I’m not feeling it. Have you seen the new home decor that is now at Dollar General? I will post some pics below, but first lets chat about it. Dollar General has come a long way with its home decor and I am loving the pieces and the prices. Now I’ve been looking for these items in my local Dollar General and have not been able to find them, as the website says “not available online, in-store only.” I hate that.
